Man faces charges after stolen pickup truck located in Grimshaw

A 40-year-old man from Cadotte Lake will be in provincial court on July 6.

According to the Peace Regional RCMP, officers found several people gathered at the Grimshaw transfer station at 5:45 pm on April 27.

According to police, a pickup truck that had previous been reported stolen from the Fairview area was also spotted at the transfer station.

Following an investigation, officers found stolen property in the truck.

The suspect was charged with:

  • Possessing property obtained by crime over $5,000
  • Possessing property obtained by crime under $5,000
  • Identity theft
  • Six counts of failing to comply with conditions of a release order

None of these charges have been proven in court.
