Rules & Regulations

  1. Contests are open to all legal Canadian residents, 18 years of age or older, residing in Alberta. Employees and immediate families of Peace River Broadcasting Corporation or its promotional partners are not eligible.
  2. Only one winner per household per 30 days.
  3. Prizes awarded by the Company are not transferable or exchangeable and may not be substituted or redeemed for cash value. The station reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value should a prize (or portion thereof) become unavailable for any reason.
  4. The station is not responsible for replacing tickets in the event of show cancellations as a result of weather, promoter or performer.
  5. All sales, prize and other taxes, costs, gratuities, fees, expenses and any other incidentals associated with the prize or its use or enjoyment are the sole responsibility of the winner.
  6. Prizes can be picked up at Peace River Broadcasting’s Peace River office at 9807-100th Ave in Peace River during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 8:30 am-12:00pm or 1:00pm-4:30pm. Prizing not picked up within 30 days will be forfeited. Where the prizing is tickets for a dated event occurring inside 30 days, the prize shall be deemed forfeited if not picked up by 4:30pm the last business day of or prior to the event.
  7. Winner’s voice or likeness may be used in conjunction with recorded announcements or outside advertising for the station.
  8. All contest entries become the property of the station.
  9. The station makes no warranties regarding the safety, condition, or fitness of any prize, and, assumes no responsibility or liability for damages, loss or injury resulting from acceptance or use of this prize, however caused, not withstanding that such injuries or losses may have been caused solely or partly by the negligence of the above parties. Winner’s further agree to indemnify the Company, its partners, officers, directors, employees, independent contractors, agents, affiliates, and sponsors, from any and all claims, demands and/or causes of action of any nature or kind whatsoever, whether presently know or unknown, foreseen or unforeseen, resulting from acceptance or use of the prize. This release Agreement shall be binding on the winner and the winner’s heirs, executors, administrators, personal representatives and assigns.
  10. For contests administrated all or in part over the phone or internet, Peace River Broadcasting is not responsible for lost, interrupted, unavailable miscommunications, failed servers, interrupted telephone or computer transmissions, technical, hardware or software failure, or scrambled transmissions of any kind whether human, mechanical or technical.
  11. Game and contest participants using the Internet must provide a valid email address.
  12. Persons found tampering or failing to comply with any aspect of a promotion or contest and its rules will be immediately disqualified.
  13. Additional contest rules will vary from contest to contest and can be requested from the station at any time.
  14. Peace River Broadcasting reserves the right to discontinue or amend a contest or its terms and rules at any time.
  15. Any and all Federal, Provincial and local laws apply to all contests.
