Woman Hit by Motor Vehicle in GP

A 38-year-old woman is recovering after being hit by a vehicle in Grande Prairie on Tuesday, April 11, 2017.

She had been trying to cross 98th Street when the vehicle struck her as it turned northbound from 100th Avenue. An ambulance then took her to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The 53-year-old driver of the vehicle was charged with failing to yield to a pedestrian under the Use of Highway & Rules of the Road Regulation Act.
