The second of our two headliners for the this weekends Rising Stars episode was Ty Wilson. Ty is a singer-songwriter from Peterborough, ON who comes from a family that has a great passion for music. His grandma opened for Johnny Cash and other stars of that time, you will learn more in the conversation about that. Ty has been making a name for himself and is poised to breakout.
I talked with Ty about his start in music, his moving across Canada (something we have in common) as well as the story behind his latest single “The Last Sip” as Ty is sober these days. Ty hopes maybe the song or his words can help inspire at least 1 person with songs like “The Last Sip.”
