This weekend on River Country Rising Stars the headliner was Noeline Hofmann and her latest release “The Bullfighter.” Noeline is fastly emerging talent hailing from the bad lands in southern Alberta, who has worked with Zach Bryan in the past few years. Noeline has made her name in an Americana style of country music, which has helped her land 5 CMAB nominations this weekend and was recently named a semi-finalist in the Top of the Country contest, where she is competing to win $25,000, with the winner decided in September. Noeline, who is in her early 20s is growing her name in both Canada and the US.
Her latest single “The Bullfighter” is a cover of the 2016 song by the late Luke Bell. This is a song that means a lot to Noeline and one she felt she needed to put out there in the world, especailly given her love of Luke and his music. You can find out more about why she released this song in the interview I had with her.
