This weekend on River Country Rising Stars the headliner was Melissa Livingstone. Melissa is a singer-songwriter from the little fishing village of Ucluelet, nestled off the coastline of Vancouver Island, BC. Melissa moved to Kelowna and recent now calls Nashville home. She has been promoted as Canada’s Miranda (Lambert), and with the new single “More Time” you can certainly hear it.
Melissa is a high energy artist so a ballad is something more rare from her, but safe to say she can more than knock them out of the park. The song “More Time” looks to be a big break out for the artist from Vancouver Island who has already amassed quite a resume which includes Denim on the Diamond Talent Search Winner, BCCMA Rising Star, and Female Vocalist of the Year Nominee.
