This weekends headliner was Justin Fancy. Justin is from Conception Bay South, NFLD. Justin Justin has swiftly emerged as a rising star on the Canadian Country music scene with the release of his debut single in 2020. In 2021 Justin secured the Music NL’s Awards for Country Artist of the Year and Rising Star of the Year, the first time the same artist has won both awards in the same year. The next year was the recipient of the coveted East Coast Music Award for Fan’s Choice Entertainer of the Year.
Talking with Justin Fancy we learned a little Newfoundland geography and about him finding music. We also discussed the country music scene in Newfoundland and his latest single “Go Easy” that was featured on the show.
