This weekend on River Country Rising Stars the headliner was Jordyn Pollard and her new single “The Reason.” Jordyn is a singer-songwriter from Lloydminster now which side of Lloydminster is she from ? Well the Saskatchewan side, so what could that be like ? Well we discussed that as well as having a single at 16 and her continued journey.
Her new single “The Reason” is the final single off her long-awaited album, Upside of Being Down that released on January 17 2025. It is written by AJ Pruis, Ingrid Andress & Derrick Southerland, but with Jordyn’s great vocals on top of it with Bart McKay’s production. It is a great single and a great way to cap off this part of her musical journey.
