This weekends headliner was Brandi Vezina and her latest song “Thinking About You.” Brandi hails from Manitoba and is a Red-River Metis singer/songwriter with roots intertwined with classic country and rock. She’s a multi award winning artist who writes & sings about what she knows, lives, and loves.
Brandi’s new single “Thinking About You” shows different side to her music, a side that doesn’t get shown much at all. The song shows a more vulnerable side to the singer/songwriter and allows the listeners into her soul. Brandi discusses this in the interview as well as her getting her start and her views on whether being an indigenous singer is harder in the difficult world of Canadian country music.
