This weekend on River Country Rising Stars the headliner was Bradley Hale and his new song “Oklahoma Sunset.” Bradley is an Ontario singer-songwriter from Elmira, who earned a spot in last year’s highly coveted Boots and Hearts Emerging Artist showcase, a contest that helped launch Jade Eagleson and The Reklaws. Bradley is seeing some success on DSPs and hoping it will translate to the radio. He does comes from a farming background as well as a musical one, who cut a deal with his parents after discovering maybe post-secondary education wasn’t his path before pursuing music full-time.
“Oklahoma Sunset” is the second radio single for Bradley following the single “Feels Like Home.” The song was co-written with his dad, and despite driving through Okalahoma, they have yet to see the sunset in the sooner state. The single is a nice easy going song that is a great addition to any playlist .
