The Northland School Division has a new member on their board of trustees.
Carmen Laboucane is the new trustee for Ward 1, which covers Paddle Prairie and Keg River.
She got in by acclamation for the vacant spot on the board.
Laboucane was originally born in Manning but grew up in Paddle Prairie.
The Northland School Division’s next board meeting is on September 19.
