I got to catch up with Hailey Benedict yesterday to speak with her about winning the Top of the Country competition during CCMA Week. Some of you will have heard her new song “Damn You July” on Rising Stars and she served as a headliner so you may know a bit about the singer-songwriter from St. Albert, AB.
It was great to speak with her again, even though we ran into each other everyday for 3 days. At least this interview I called the song “Damn You July” instead of Damn July like last night.
