I’m not sure what took so long but there is a Christian Ouija Board. That’s right the famed Ouija board has gone from talking to spirits to talking to Jesus. I wondered when someone would try to cash in on the religious element of the Ouija Board and it appears to be now.
The “Holy Spirit Board” works just like an Ouija board with a golden cross for a planchette, that will allow you to speak with Jesus himself. It is said to be “Perfect for churches, prayer groups or just getting together with friends,” the board game says on its page. “Unlike other spirit boards, this one will NEVER contact evil ghosts or demons, so you can ask your questions with an assured sense of safety.”
A Mexican priest and exorcist Ernesto Maria Caro said one particular game, the Holy Spirit Board, is actually “a trap from the devil.” Although Caro insisted that the Devil is behind the game, advertisements portray it as more of a harmless parody instead of a spiritual attack from hell.
I love that a priest/exorcist commented on the harmless parody game and I knew someone somewhere would call it “the work of the devil.”
