The Town of High Level has a new Director of Finance and Administration.
Jeri Phillips says she brings a lot of experience into the role.
“I’ve been with Mackenzie County, I did six years with them from 2005-2011, then I spent five years in Grande Prairie working in the oilfield industry and pipelines and administration. Then I came back to High Level in 2016.”
Phillips spent the past four years with Mackenzie County as a Taxation Assessment Clerk.
She is also working towards becoming a Chartered Professional Accountant.
“I’ve been doing a lot of my schooling online with the University of Alberta. That will hopefully be a goal in my near future, right now I’m just settling in with the Town of High Level and taking advantage of the knowledge I can gain.”
Phillips is also an active member of the community, being involved in Little League and Slo-Pitch.
