Dolly Parton after going into the Rock and Roll hall of Fame, who tried to not be considered since she wasn’t a rockstar, has her first rock album coming out November 17th. The album is appropriately called “Rockstar.”
Dolly isn’t going at it alone, in what was much like Slash releasing a solo album she has the company of some of the greats to help her out. The 30 track album, 9 originals with 21 rock anthem covers will see the likes of Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, Lizzo, Sting, Chris Stapleton, Debbie Harry, Elton John, John Fogerty, Joan Jett, Steven Tyler, Peter Frampton and Kid Rock just to name a few.
Tomorrow night (May 11) Dolly will debut her first single from the album during the 58th annual Academy of Country Music Awards, which she is co-hosting with Garth Brooks, which will stream around the world live on Prime Video beginning at 6 p.m. MST from The Ford Center in Frisco, Texas
