I got the chance to catch up with JoJo Mason to discuss his music, touring and mental health yesterday. JoJo, who is currently on the road with Steven Lee Olsen on the Country Music Night in Canada tour has released a new single called “Just Like You” out, which center’s around his relationship with his brother. The song explores going from being at odds with one another to being thick as thieves. That single will be on his new EP “Bettin’ On Me,” the 6 song EP is set to be released on February 7th.
When it comes to being a musician, being on the road away from friends and family it can take it’s toll, and JoJo is a big proponent for mental health and discusses the importance of it as well that he may have something in the works, that he can’t tell us about just yet, that has his mental health based podcast taking a backseat.
