This Saturday is the Alberta Pond Hockey Gala at the Mile Zero Multiplex in Grimshaw. Now this year sadly no pond hockey itself due to safety concerns regarding the mild winter and with the weather being above zero this weekend it was a good call. Despite the lack of action on the pond the gala night is still going and will feature the amazing music and showmanship of The Steve McQueen Band.
The gala features Live music, dancing, cash bar, and silent auction benefiting the Resource Centre for Suicide Prevention in Grimshaw. Tickets are just $10 and ALL ages welcome.
