Alberta Farm Animal Care will soon be holding their Livestock Care Conference.
The event will be taking place on March 21 and 22, 2017, at the Best Western Denham Inn & Suites in Leduc.
According to the agenda, the AFAC will be holding their AGM at the first day of the event at 6:30.
As well, there will be a line-up of guest speakers.
Dr. Yolande Seddon will discuss practical strategies and new thinking in swine production.
Dr. Mike Petrick will talk about a day in the life of a chicken vet, as well as keeping flocks in your backyard, while Dr. Ellen Goddard will give delegates a look at animal welfare trade-offs versus consumer choice.
