Netflix just released the first teaser trailer for the new Scott Pilgrim Animated Series. Prior to this, they had only announced that the original actors and director would be involved.
After watching this I am so excited for it! Scott Pilgrim is based on a set of six graphic novels by the same name where our protagonist has to battle the 7 evil exes of this girl he meets in order to date her. It also takes place in Canada which is cool. The series was adapted into a movie and gained a cult following which has led us to now.
The series looks like it has a similar look to the graphic novels which will be cool to have it fully animated and voiced. The cast is also impressive, a lot of members starred in the movie early in their careers like Brie Larson or Chris Evans.
If you have never watched the movie or read the series I would highly recommend them. If you are interested in the newest take on the story watch the trailer below!
