Top of the Country Finalists Named

mail-1-3

The Top of the Country contest has named it’s finalists for the contest that awards the winner $25,000 and one is from Alberta. Past winners have included Tyler Joe Miller, Matt Lang, Sacha, Hailey Benedict and most recently Zach McPhee took how the title.

The top three have earned exclusive mentorship opportunities and will perform at major live events across the country, culminating at Country Music Week 2025 in September. Here, our finalists will perform live on stage, and one will be crowned this year’s SiriusXM Top of the Country champion, awarded a grand prize of $25,000, with the two runners-up taking home $10,000 each.

The finalist are:

  • Sully Burrows – Parry Sound, Ontario
  • Noeline Hofmann – Bow Island, Alberta
  • Jake Vaadeland – Cut Knife, Saskatchewan

You will have heard Jake and Noeline on River Country Rising Stars with Noeline acting as the headliner for the CMAB edition of the show last month. Jake recently took home a JUNO Award for Traditional Album, and Noeline was a big winner at the CMAB Awards.

It will be interesting to see the 3 perform in Kelowna come September during Country Music Week and who is crowned the winner. All 3 are very different versions of country music so it will be a very eclectic finale.
