It’s a discussion about a natural resource that is quite precious in Alberta today.
World Water Day is happening on Friday, and authorities are bringing that resource to the head of the talk, especially with last year’s drought and fire seasons.
The Watershed Planning and Advisory Councils in Alberta are coming together for a webinar to showcase perspectives on water governance and peace.
That includes the Mighty Peace Watershed Alliance, and the Lesser Slave Watershed Council, who will be part of sharing and hearing perspectives on water, water sharing, and keeping the peace during times of drought.
The webinar is Friday from Noon to 1:30 and registration is required.
More information is on our Community Calendar.
The Watershed Coordinator of the Lesser Slave Watershed Council, is Kate Lovsin.
