A hockey player from Woking has begun his first season in the AJHL.

Morgan Brady is a defenceman with the Spruce Grove Saints, he says he’s adjusted well to the Junior A level.

“We got off to a pretty good start to the season. I think we’ve got a really good group of guys here and I’m really pumped for the season. I’ve been getting adjusted to the speed and the strength of all the guys. It’s definitely a jump up but I think I’m getting my feet wet here and felling good.”

He previously played at the Northern Alberta Xtreme prep school and says that helped prepare him for this level.

“I really liked my time there and I think the coaches and the development they have is really good and really beneficial I thought for myself and my development as a young hockey player and it really helped me move into the junior play style. It’s really cool to be with an organization (the Saints) with such a history. They have lots of recognition with themselves and I think it really helps me moving forward even post career after the Saints.
