Watershed Council gearing up for Spring and Summer (Meghan Payne)

They are set for a busy Spring and Summer in the Peace Region.

The Lesser Slave Watershed Council has many events on the calendar in the next few months, that target all ages to enjoy.

Field Trip for High School students, the Kids can Catch summer event, the Annual General Meeting, plus other are on the agenda for the public to possibly partake in.

Plus, the idea of preservation and learning about the precious resource in the area, gives residents an opportunity to explore the different characteristics of landscape, that is quite popular, even in the tourism sector.

The Council is also quite anxious for the Spring and Summer months to present their latest findings from a science perspective, as the seasons approach.

The Executive Director of the Lesser Slave Watershed Council, is Meghan Payne.

Payne discusses the organization’s events, the upcoming AGM, and the times of collecting data for the Watershed.
