Some increases to utility rates are happening in Falher.
The town has finalized their 2024 utility rates, water is going up $1.05 per cubic metre, residential sewer is seeing a $0.50 per month increase and there’s also a slight increase to recycling rates for the first time since 2021.
The water and sewer increases are in part to fund future capital projects and aging town infrastructure.
