“Alberta RCMP Tactical Support Group has been deployed to various fire zones throughout Alberta. They provide support such as manning check-points, preventative patrols in communities and counties, and general taskings from fire commanders. During these patrols, TSG Members continue to do police work by saturating communities to prevent crimes, especially in evacuation zones. In these particular cases, Members were able to get guns and drugs off the streets” S/Sgt. Rodney Koscielny Commander, Tactical Support Group “K” Division.
