The Town of Peace River has announced there will be some brief road closures on Wednesday, August 8, and Thursday, August 9.
Westbound Highway 2 at the Shaftesbury Overpass will be closed Friday 9:30am and 3pm. Then again Saturday at 9:30am.
Bridge contractors are expecting the closures to last about 10 – 15 minutes to allow for the delivery of girders for the overpass span.
UPDATE:
Further update, closures are now planned for Saturday, August 11 at 9:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., and Sunday, August 12 at 9:30 a.m.
