
High Level’s financial blueprint has been rubber stamped by town council.
The town’s operating budget was approved, along with a tax bylaw.
High Level’s residential and farmland property tax rate will stay the same at 9.9084, but the non-residential mil rate will see an increase from 11.3668 to 11.5073.
High Level also saw its assessment values rise from 2019 to this year as well.
Residential values are up 2.33 percent while non-residential grew by 5.59 percent.
The High Level operating budget is set at $13,384.916 million, with nearly 50 percent of its revenues coming from municipal taxes.
