A psychiatric assessment has been given additional time in the case of the death of a Driftpile Councillor.
The case of Starr Frederick Sasakamoose Jr. has been held over until July 24.
Junior is charged in the death of his father Starr Felix Sasakamoose Sr., back in April.
Senior was re-elected as a band Councillor back in December.
Not Fit For Trial
A Whitefish man, accused of second degree murder, has been found not fit to stand trial.
31 year-old Tristan Patrick Kanye Grey is charged, following the April death of 56 year-old Beatrice Laboucan in Atikameg.
The judge in the case has set Monday to mark a fitness hearing date to confirm the findings.
3D Gun Seizure
Police across the province, including in Grande Prairie, have busted a significant 3D firearms reproduction operation.
The Alberta Law Enforcement Response Team seized the weapons in a search warrant, that happened two weeks ago.
No charges have been laid, but authorities are saying that suspects have been identified.
Over 100 firearms and thousands of rounds of ammunition were repossessed in the Operation.
