RCMP officers are investigating a crash that happened early this morning involving an ATV near the Sturgeon Lake Cree Nation. - The town of Peace River has released stats on the Public Safety Survey.
The majority said APEX was not contacted during the summer, despite significant concerns in town, fuelled by a sense of reduced safety resulting from the behaviours of unhoused individuals. - ATCO stated that about 150 street lights were left to be changed to LED. Singh achieved a perfect score on the Grade 6 Science Provincial Achievement Test in the 2023-2024 school year. - The size of the cattle herds in this country is at a 40-year low.
The amount of cattle in the country has fallen in recent years as many ranchers faced rising expenses, such as feed costs because of drought conditions. - A social media ban for children under 16 passed the Australian Senate Thursday and will soon become a world-first law.
The law will make platforms including TikTok, Facebook, Snapchat, Reddit, X and Instagram liable for fines of up to $33 million US for systemic failures to prevent children younger than 16 from holding accounts. - Three games in the NPHL tonight… Falher is in High Prairie, and Grande Prairie is in Fox Creek, and Fort St. John is in Dawson Creek.

Temps in the Northwest will remain at nudging -20 for a daytime high, and -30 as an overnight low. Digits in the Peace and Big Lakes will warm up though by the beginning of the week.
