- Fort Vermilion RCMP are continuing an investigation into a firearm being discharged last week. On Thursday, the report of a gunshot from a vehicle came from the Boyer Reserve.
Reports indicate a property owner followed a vehicle, after discovering arson to some bales of hay, where a gun was fired. - The Provincial Government has handed back $137 million dollars to the federal government.
This after alloted time had expired to spend the money to clean up old Oil and Natural gas wells, many of which are in the Peace Region. - The sense of helping out the community organizations with donations, or volunteer hours, is what every business strives for.

- The North Peace Hockey League has released their 2025 schedule. First games are next Thursday with Spirit River in Grande Prairie and Dawson Creek at Fort St. John.
