- Today is the 80th anniversary of D-Day, the landing of Allied troupes on the beach in Normandy France.
Around 10,000 casualties were reported, with over 4,400 Allies killed during the liberation of France and the rest of Western Europe from German occupation. - They say an apple a day keeps the doctor away, but what do you do when the doc is away?

Tomorrow and Saturday will cool off dramatically with rain scheduled. Things will warm up again by the beginning of the week.
