- The Cameron Hills Fire near Indian Cabins has increased to 20,000 hectares in size, and is now Out-of-control again.
The fire jumped Highway 35 earlier this month, and currently is moving back north towards the Territories again. - The truck driver, who caused the deadly Humboldt Bus Crash in 2018, has been ordered deported back to India.
21 year-old Connor Lukan of Slave Lake, and 42 year-old Head Coach Darcy Haugen were two of 16 people killed in the accident. - In Peace River, Council decides on an extra $400,000 to fund various patchwork for the over lay of roads project.
In High Level, Council decides on the Multi-purpose EVAC center evaluation, and Airport Master Plan. - The Kapawe’no First Nation Collegiate, based in Grouard is receiving money for new books and literacy resources.
