- RCMP have arrested 7 people after reports of shots fired in Chateh on Nov 18th, multiple firearm charges for suspects from across the province.
Locally, Austin Quintal and Deborah Didzena of Chateh, and Jordan McLoed of High Level face 5 different charges.

It’s one of 12 new shelters provided for First Nation’s communities across the country.
