A flood watch is still in effect for the Fort Vermilion area.
Water levels along the Peace River in that area have gone up around four metres.
Meanwhile the flood watch that was issued for the Smoky River at Watino has now been downgraded to a high streamflow advisory as the water levels are receding there.
The evacuation order that had been issued for residents in Watino has now been rescinded so people in that community will be able to return home.
A high streamflow advisory is also still in effect for the Town of Peace River.
