
On June 6, 2025, Slave Lake RCMP responded to a call about a male refusing to leave a local business.
The suspect, identified as 34-year-old Jace Paul Sound of Kinuso, Alberta, fled upon police arrival.
With assistance from the Crime Reduction Unit, officers located and arrested Sound.
A search revealed ammunition magazines and boxes violating his release conditions.
Sound faces multiple charges, including possession of ammunition contrary to order and failure to comply with release orders.
He was remanded into custody and is scheduled to appear in the Alberta Court of Justice in Slave Lake on June 11, 2025.
Staff Sergeant Casey Bruyns thanked the public for their trust and cooperation, emphasizing the importance of community involvement in apprehending known offenders.
