Slave Lake RCMP arrest and charge three for break-in
Slave Lake, Alta.— On July 24, 2023, at approximately 5:45 p.m., Slave Lake RCMP received a report of a break-in to a residence in the southwest quadrant of Slave Lake.
Slave Lake RCMP members attended and obtained a description of three suspects who had fled after taking items from the residence.
After searching various areas in Town, officers were able to locate the three individuals and placed them under arrest. Stolen items from the victim’s residence were located on a search of the individual’s incidental to arrest.
As a result of the investigation, Reuben Dale Brule (51) and Aaron David Jackson (39), both residents of Slave Lake, and Christopher Joseph Yellowknee (46), a resident of Fort Vermilion, are charged with break and enter to a residence and commit theft.
Following judicial interim hearings, both Brule, Jackson, and Yellowknee were released by a Justice of the Peace to appear at the Alberta Court of Justice in Slave Lake on Aug. 23, 2023.
