Search-&-Seizures in GP and Whitecourt Result in 8 Arrests

Grande Prairie RCMP arrested five people after a search-and-seizure at a residence in the city.

At 9:35 PM on June 29, 2017, police served the warrant, and recovered stolen property that included bicycles, identification cards, as well as some credit cards.

As well, police also seized four firearms, three of them loaded, and also some ammunition and a variety of illegal drugs.

27-year-old Bradley Forseth, 22-year-old Austin Bates, 30-year-old Debbie Jones, 26-year-old Jarret Beaulieu and a 16-year-old girl all face a total of 95 charges, including Possession of a Loaded Prohibited Weapon, Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm and Possession of a Controlled Substance.

The youth appears in provincial court on July 17; The four adults appear on July 24.

In a separate case out in Whitecourt, two men and a woman were arrested after a search-and-seizure took place at a town residence on July 8, 2017.

Police took a large amount of Canadian currency, 191 grams of Marijuana, 93 grams of crack cocaine, 18 grams of fentanyl, 26 grams of Crystal Methamphetamine, and a variety of other drugs.

Also located was a stolen, loaded firearm, as well as a stolen motorcycle.

26-year-old Sasha Stimson, 22-year-old Derek Primeau and 19-year-old Kyle Macmilan all make their first court appearance on July 11 in Whitecourt.
