While Peace Regional Police is dealing with auto crime, authorities in the Smoky River region are dealing with an increase in theft from worksites.
McLennan RCMP have said that crime is up by 12% from last year, and it’s largely due to theft from the sites.
The main product being lifted from sites, is copper wire.
