Alberta Transportation and Economic Corridors will commence the Hwy 744 project in Peace River on June 16, 2025, involving underground utility, concrete, and asphalt work.
The project will proceed in phases through September 2025 to minimize disruption.
Affected areas include 100 St, 101 St, 103 St, 102 Ave, 104 Ave, Judah Hill Rd, Hwy 262, and 90 St.
No-parking zones will be enforced, with vehicles relocated if necessary.
Residents are advised to obey all signage and avoid barricaded areas.
Waste collection may be temporarily affected; contractors will manage bin placement as needed.
