Grande Prairie RCMP requests public assistance in locating stolen police equipment
Grande Prairie, Alta. – On March 26, 2024, at 10:35 a.m., Grande Prairie RCMP was advised that the Grande Prairie County Community and Enforcement Services locked compound in Clairmont was broken into. The compound stores equipment from various first responder agencies. Among the stolen items were an RCMP flat deck as well as two marked RCMP quads. No other RCMP equipment, including uniforms or use of force items, were stolen. According to video footage, the theft took place between 7:54 p.m. and 8:29 p.m. on March 25, 2024.
Listed are the specifics regarding the stolen quads, that have RCMP markings, and the flat deck:
- 2021 Red Can Am Outlander 570, AB Licence CNM32, VIN: 3JBLMAT49MJ000656
- 2021 Grey Polaris Sportsman Touring 570, AB Licence NKA73, VIN: 4XASDE575MA293420
- 2022 Black “Rainbow Trailers” Flat Deck, AB Licence 6CY542, VIN: 2RGBA1426N1000110
