Red Earth Creek RCMP seek public assistance with arson investigation
Peerless Trout First Nation, Alta. – On October 15, 2021, shortly before 9:00 a.m., Red Earth Creek RCMP received a complaint of a structure fire at the United Church off Highway 686 on Peerless Trout First Nation.
Upon arrival, the Church had been burned to the ground and was smouldering. Firestorm Consulting Group were contacted to assist with the investigation and determined the fire had been ignited with an accelerant.
Red Earth Creek RCMP continue to investigate the arson and are asking for any witnesses, or anyone with information regarding the incident to contact the Detachment at 780-649-3992.
