Alberta RCMP Missing Persons Unit conducting aerial searches
Wabasca and Peace River, Alta. – On Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2023, the Alberta RCMP Missing Persons Unit will be conducting aerial searches of the Wabasca and Peace Rivers. Annually the Alberta RCMP completes aerial river searches for persons reported missing, with the hopes of discovering new information to advance ongoing investigations.
Persons with information on the whereabouts of a person reported missing can call 911, their local police of jurisdiction or attend a police station of their convenience in person. The Alberta RCMP takes all reports of persons reported missing, regardless of jurisdiction. You do not have to wait any amount of time before reporting someone that you believe may be missing to the RCMP.
