The Peace River and District Chamber of Commerce achieved significant milestones at the Alberta Chambers of Commerce’s 87th Annual General Meeting and Policy Plenary Session in Medicine on May 31 2025.
The Chamber was honored with the 2024 Chamber of the Year award for its size category, reflecting the team’s dedication and hard work.
During the policy plenary session, the Chamber successfully introduced and passed a policy advocating for the advancement of Highway 686, marking its first policy initiative in over a decade.
Additionally, Chamber President Layne Gardner was elected to the ACC Executive Committee, a five-year term that will enhance the Chamber’s ability to advocate for the Peace Region’s business community.
These accomplishments underscore the Chamber’s commitment to fostering a thriving business environment in the Peace Region.
