News release from High Level RCMP
On Dec. 27, 2023, at approximately 3:30 p.m., High Level RCMP responded to a collision involving a pedestrian and a vehicle on Highway 58, near the 6-mile road in MacKenzie County.
The initial investigation revealed that the female pedestrian was walking along the roadway and was struck by a black pick up truck, believed to be a Dodge Ram. The pick-up truck then drove away and failed to remain on scene. The female was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Any persons who may have witnessed the collision or who have dash cam footage are asked to contact the High Level RCMP detachment.
