Dan Williams and Todd Loewen did not leave Alberta.
Williams, Peace River MLA and Loewen of Central Peace-Notley member respectively told the Trending 55 Newsroom that they stayed in the province.
Lesser Slave Lake MLA, Pat Rehn is one a handful of elected officials and staff members with ties to the governing UCP party that traveled internationally despite suggestions from the federal and provincial governments to avoid non-essential travel.
Since then, Premier Jason Kenney says Rehn, and other MLA who went on vacation would be stripped of their legislative committee responsibilities.
According to a statement from Williams, he stayed in Alberta doing work and enjoying some personal time.
Loewen says he spent Christmas Eve with his wife at home.
