Grimshaw Town Council engaged in discussions regarding a recent meeting with a number of executives visiting the region to engage in conversations with local municipalities regarding the possibility of a Nuclear Power Plant Project being developed in the region.
The meeting also included MLA Dan Williams, MD of Peace and Town of Grimshaw Councillors, the President of the Grimshaw & District Chamber of Commerce and the Lac Cardinal Regional Economic Development Board Economic Development Officer.
Grimshaw Town Council has been involved in meetings regarding the possibility of a Nuclear Power Plant Project being developed in the region.
Councillors from the MD of Peace, Peace River MLA Dan Williams, the Grimshaw Chamber, and the Lac Cardinal Regional Economic Development Board have also been part of these discussions
The potential project is just in the initial consultation stage.
