No Injuries From Weekend Fires In High Level

The High Level fire department were called out to a pair of fires on Sunday

The first one started at around 1 AM at the High Level Trailer Court, this fire started under a trailer and caused significant damage before being brought under control.

Two people were home at the time, but there were no injuries from this event.

The second one started at a home on 103 Street at around 4 PM, the fire took place in the basement of the home and caused an unspecified amount of damage before crews were able to contain it.

Five members of a family and two dogs were in the residence at the time. The family was able to escape, but the two dogs had to be rescued from the home. The animals were treated for smoke inhalation by HLFD members and EMS at the scene.

The causes of both fires is still under investigation.
