Nampa School is NOT closing!
Delegations were heard from both sides of the debate at the Peace River School Division’s Board Meeting on Thursday.
Discussions of costs, and the impact of funding were brought forward, as well as support of the School from the Village of Nampa, Northern Sunrise County, and Nampa School Council.
The Board passed a motion not to proceed with First Reading on closing the School, instead directing staff to bring back solutions for viability of all small schools in the Division.
