Final preperations are being made to discuss water in the Peace Region.
The Water Management in Alberta’s Boreal conference is getting ready to go next Tuesday and Wednesday at the Pomeroy Hotel in Grande Prairie.
Peatland restoration, Benthic invertebrates, aquatic health, and wetland mapping and efficiency are among the topics being discussed during the two-day event.
Also, discussion panels, networking, door prizes, plus keynote speakers and a banquet are featured.
The Mighty Peace Watershed Alliance is hopeful for a good show, and a good turnout on the topic of a precious resource in the Peace Region.
