McLennan, Alta. – Megan Caouette has been located safe by RCMP in the Fairview area. McLennan RCMP would like to thank the public and the media for their assistance.

McLennan RCMP seek public assistance to locate missing vulnerable female

McLennan, Alta. – On Sept. 7, 2022, at 8:40 p.m., McLennan RCMP received a report from concerned family that 33-year-old Megan Caouette, was not at her residence in a rural area outside McLennan and her whereabouts were unknown. Megan last communicated with family on Sept. 7, 2022, at approximately 10:30 a.m.

It is believed that Megan left the residence earlier in the day in a white Jeep Patriot that was not registered, has limited fuel and does not have a license plate. Her direction of travel is unknown.

Efforts by the McLennan RCMP to locate Megan have been unsuccessful and the assistance of the public is being sought. Megan is a vulnerable person with medical concerns that require medical attention. Megan may be disoriented and confused without her medication so the public are asked not to approach her and to contact police so that she can receive assistance safely.

Megan Caouette (33) is described as:

·       5’2” tall

·       300 lbs

·       Blue eyes

·       Brown hair of medium length

·       Light complexion

Megan may be driving the white 2014 Jeep Patriot.
